A loose, Latin-rock feel on “Mother’s Love” underpins Mike Cemprola’s soaring and barbed tenor saxophone solo. The crunchy, guitar-driven fusion of “Migration of the Spirit” is like Mahavishnu Orchestra with a contemporary groove.
The Fourth Annual Center City Jazz Festival presents a lineup of blockbuster performers on Saturday, April 25h as part of Philadelphia Jazz Appreciation Month. Attendees can expect a jam-packed schedule of 16 bands performing at four venues over six hours, all within walking distance of each other in the heart of Center City. One ticket provides access to all performances.
